DRYING
It is a natural process used for preserving food for a long time. Removing the water from food means inhibit the growth of mould, microorganisms avoiding the products deterioration. This process allows to keep almost all organoleptic properties and nutrients: A dried product remains in its unaltered state for a long time. Drying through these dryers is an absolutely natural method without any substances or preservatives added to the process.

AFTER DRYING
 
Dried products can be stored for a long time - about one year or more - especially if kept away from moisture, light and insects, keeping them - for instance - in airtight glass jars inside a cupboard (away from light). We can be stored the food using a paper bag (used fot the bread) and put in a plastic bag (as freezing bag): the paper bag will protect from light and absorb excess moisture, while the plastic bag will prevent the entrance of air humidity.

WHAT WE CAN DRY
We especially know dried mushrooms, but we can dry a lot of product as:
FRUITS 
- pears, apples, strawberries, bananas, persimmons, figs, plums, grapes, peaches, kiwi, pineapple, etc..
VEGETABLES
- eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers, green beans, courgettes (zucchini), spinach, celery, pumpkins, etc..
MUSHROOMS
porcini, honey, chantarelle, etc.
MEAT AND FISH
- Meat: horse, beef, pork;
- Fish: white fish, shad, etc.
HERBS 
rosemary, basil, parsley, thyme, sage, mint, chives, etc.
FLOWERS 
chamomile, roses, orange blossom, etc.
